The Benevolent Society helps people with a disability live in their own homes as independently as possible and stay involved in their communities through the delivery of community care services and respite services for carers.

Services are delivered in the northern, southern and eastern suburbs of Sydney and in the Nepean, Blue Mountains and Hawkesbury areas.

The specific services offered vary from area to area. They can include:

• Help in the home with personal care, housekeeping, laundry and more
• Social support such as group activities and outings with peers
• Specialised services that organise and coordinate care for people who have complex needs and who need several different services
• Respite care so that carers of people with a disability can take a break on a regular planned basis or in an emergency
• Support for carers including teenagers, young people and older people caring for their adult son/daughter with a disability

We employ various positions to help us make a difference in the lives of people with a disability and their carers including:

• Case Manager (Health, Welfare, Nursing or Social Science Background)
• Community Care Worker
• Disability Support Worker

You will benefit from ongoing support and training, $16,050 tax-free component which means more in your take home pay; flexible working conditions including a accrued monthly days off for full-time staff working for us
