Community Networking

Community networking and service development

  • An aim of the FRS is to develop a regional network of service providers who can meet the needs of vulnerable children young people and families.
  •
  • The FRS will work with other service providers in the region to identify unmet needs and duplications and to report on local service supply issues.
  •
  • How will we do this?
    • monitoring referral processes and outcomes
    • maintaining and updating HS NET - a database of services and their availability and eligibility requirements
    • identifying and attending interagency and practice networks in the region; promoting the development or consolidation of these with consultation and evaluation of those involved
    • establishing a working group of area managers and coordinators of government, non-government and private providers to evaluate and plan regional service delivery
    • developing, operating and reporting on feedback pathways from callers, workers and community
