Women’s Health & Mother-Baby Hub is a wellbeing centre for parents which combines a comprehensive range of prenatal and postnatal health services with the convenience of a child friendly café, all located in the same place. The Women's Health & Mother-Baby Hub is located in Strathpine in Queensland.
Welcome
The Women's Health & Mother-Baby Hub website has all our regular services available, including medical and allied health specialists, and we’ve launched a new Saver Plus program to help you learn more about budgeting and saving.
Our cafe is perfect for a quick coffee and taking time out with friends or for catching up with your Women’s or Mothers Group and we have a playground where your kids/grandkids can have fun while you relax. We can even help with serviced office space, if that's what you need, especially for any self-employed carer looking at going back to work and needing just a couple of hours work.

Helping new parents to be confident
The Women's Health & Mother-Baby Hub aims to address the many aspects of isolation and anxiety facing new parents today, specifically in the post-natal period and the lead up to impending parenthood. Our team of health professionals includes a GP, Midwife and Psychologists who are able to provide parents with the information they need to feel comfortable and confident before and after a baby's birth and during early childhood. The Hub is also a safe place for parents to go on their first few outings with a newborn.
Classes
The Well Baby Clinic provides new mothers one on one consultations with an experienced midwife during the first 6 weeks after coming home.
Consultations include:
- growth and weight development checks;
- breast feeding support and information;
- nutrition information for mum;
- Post Partum Depression information;
- crying, settling techniques and introducing routines;
- immunisation and hearing check referrals with our GP;
- breast feeding support and information;
- nutrition information for mum; and
- referrals as required.
Available Thursdays from 9.00am – 3.30pm by appointment.
Child Nurse
We also offer a child health nurse on Wednesdays from 9:30am to 1:30pm.
